1. Why is it so critical that English "obey the rules of grammer"? It seems to me that it is such a big focus to teach English in its "proper" form.
2. Why are there so many fallacies with standard English and is considered "lesser" than other language?
3. How can someone consider a language to be getting worse or not as good as it once was?

In order for me to get my readers interest i try and use examples from my life that may relate to theirs. If i cant use use examples from my life i try to catch their attention via something else. I would write to the target audiences likes and stay away from their dislikes. Between the three different types, logos, pathos, and ethos i think the one that needs the most improvement would have to be logos. I have a hard time writing things that have alot of logic behind them. When it comes to giving examples in papers, i would have to say i am pretty good because i have been through alot in my life so i can relate alot of my writings to my life. I am good at also pulling out things in other papers and incorporating them into my paper. I am logical because i use examples. I am a good person when it comes to life and writing.

Summary:
Swearing in college sports might end up costing you the game, but it could help build team comratery in the work place. Business scholars, Yehuda Baruch and Staurt Jenkins believe that swearing in the office creates a sense of community and reinforces social relationships. They also believe that it "loosens" up the work place and makes it a more- relaxed attitude. Also, both believe that swearing should be kept inside the business, and not let out to the public. Compared with popular belief some of peoples last words are swear words, rather than the memorable words seen in movies. Swearing is traced back to the time of Shakespear adn Caesar.
Analysis:
The arguements that are presented in this article are, "Can swearing in the business place improve working conditions?" The professors in this article believe that swearing in the office helps team comradery because it loosens up the mood. The other arguement is that swearing is actually used more in today's society or if its just cited more often.
Logic: I thought that the author used very good and realible sources that helped back up his views on the topic.
Pathos: The reason that this article caught my emotions, is because the author started the artice with using swearing in college sports could possibly lose you the game. Another thing that caught my emotions was that i do swear alot and i was curious about what he had to say about it.
Ethos: I think that the author has good points about swearing being good in the office place because it loosens up the mood and creates team comradery.
The audience is for people who swear and find it uncomfortable to be themselves at the work place. The weakness of this artilce is that many people say you shouldnt swear at work because it is unproffessional and rude, but the strengths of this article are that he does make a good point that it does loosen up the mood. Overall, i think that whether your for or against swearing in the office space, you should read this article. http://webtools.uiuc.edu/blog/view?blogId=25&topicId=1121&count=1&ACTION=VIEW

Summary from being absent "Are metrosexuals fake fags?"
In this artilce, the author is making fun of straight guys that are being very metrosexual. He says that more and more straight men are acting more and more metro, and he doesnt really like it because it is making it harder on the gay men to try and find real gay men. Straight men are caring about what they look like and they are asking there gay male friends if a pair of pants make them look fat or there caring about there skin and pores. He also mentioned that there have been men at his book signings and they come up and say that they loved his book and it was fabulous and then they bring their wife up and say that they loved his book too. All in all he is just joking about everything and wasnt really being serious.

In my definition paper, i used the arguement that there could be many different types of leaders and you cant just set yourself up for just one type of leader because the best leaders are ones that present all of the different qualities and not just a few. I used examples from my life and examples that ive seen in the news or in professional sports...

1. Should the minium wage be raised and should the government increase or decrease the amount that it taxes the American Citizen?
The topic above is one that affects me and my employer. My personal stance on the topic is that the government should keep the minimum wage the same and also dont move the tax amount. If the government was to increase the minimum wage then there would be a great deal of inflation and then they would increase the taxes.
2. Should the next president pull the troops out of Iraq?
I think that the next president should pull the troops out of Iraq because there alot of people in the armed forces that are losing their lives over something that i dont know if it can be fixed. Whether we pull out now or in five years, Iraq will probably go back to the way it used to be. We went over to the middle east to stop terrorism, and we've done everything but that.
3. What should we do in order to keep Social Security good for the next generation?
To be completly honest i dont have a clue about anything on this subject... I dont know how social security is saved up or how it is running out...
